OCS Navy – Reach your Full Potential

The OCS Navy program can help you to reach your full potential in the military by giving you the tools necessary to succeed as an officer. As an officer in the Navy you must have what it takes to lead and understand the requirements needed to lead men and women into battle. You must understand what is at stake and know what is required of an officer. You will be tested and trained for mental and physical capabilities and learn the skills that will help you to excel as an officer and a person. The OCS Navy program has home base in Rhode Island and is divided into five different Navy Officer Candidate Schools to provide the important education needed for military officers in command. If you have what it takes you can be accepted to one of the greatest officer school programs in the military and earn the privilege of being a Navy Officer. You will start out at the pay grade of E-5, unless you are prior enlisted and have a higher pay grade.

Navy OCS Requirements – What it Takes

Navy OCS requirements for joining the Navy Officer Candidate School will include several factors for acceptance as well as for passing and completing your training to become an officer. The first may be the most obvious can be occasionally overlooked; the individual applying must be a US citizen. The applicant must also be over seventeen years old. Individual must be less than twenty three years old as of July of the year joining the Navy OCS program. Applicant must be unmarried and not pregnant nor have any obligation to support a child or any other person. Individual must be of good moral character, for obvious reasons as you will take on a great responsibility as an officer in the Navy. Navy OCS applicant must be physically fit and medically in good condition as well as being mentally and scholastically able. Most candidates must have at least four years of college or equivalent.
